2. What data we collect
We only collect data you give us directly. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or third-party analytics on this site.
- Contact & catalogue requests (contact form): company name, contact email, business type, and the message you write.
- Orders (shop order form): name/company, contact email, delivery details, and the products and quantities you select.
- Language preference: your chosen site language (EN/FI/ET) and shopping cart contents are stored locally in your browser (localStorage) so the site remembers them on your next visit. This data stays on your device and is never sent to us until you submit a form.
We do not collect payment card details — Odatrade does not process online payments; orders are confirmed and invoiced directly by our team.
3. Why we process your data
- To respond to catalogue, pricing and product requests.
- To process and fulfil wholesale orders, including invoicing and delivery.
- To maintain our business relationship with you as a customer or prospective customer.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries and, where an order is placed, the performance of a contract with you or your company.
4. Who we share it with
Form submissions on this site are processed by Netlify, Inc., our website hosting and forms provider, acting as our data processor. Netlify may process data on servers located outside the EU/EEA under standard contractual safeguards. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers or other third parties.
5. How long we keep it
We keep contact and order data for as long as needed to maintain the business relationship and to meet our accounting and tax obligations under Finnish law (generally up to 6–10 years for invoicing records), after which it is deleted or anonymised.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Ask us to delete your data, where we are not legally required to keep it.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format.

7. Cookies & local storage
This site does not use tracking or advertising cookies. It uses your browser's local storage only to remember your language preference and shopping cart between visits — this data is not accessible to us and never leaves your device unless you submit an order.

Our services are intended for businesses (B2B) and are not directed at, or knowingly used by, children.
